The brief for this project was to turn an open and exposed terrace into useable more private space linking the client’s existing swimming pool to the wider garden.
The design focused on the need to create intimacy whilst allowing easy access to the building and pool area. Bespoke Iroko benches and planters are framed by hornbeam arches echoing the grandeur of the architecture whilst creating a secluded terrace. The raised beds have been planted to enhance that sense of privacy at the height of its use in summer.
